The Silver Bracelet

The Silver Bracelet was created for Year 8/9 Classics students and features the stories of Tarpeia and Cloelia, as well as exploring themes of Roman womanhood, life and culture.

Told by two Roman ladies with tabletop puppetry, singing and storytelling, The Silver Bracelet is a great fun introduction to some inspiring topics on the syllabus!

Workshops

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

Learn about Roman jokes and make your own Octavius the Owl puppet

The Bridesmaids and the Lamps

An adaptation of Jesus' tale of the wise and foolish virgins, The Bridesmaids and the Lamps is a great introduction to bible stories and parables, and also explores biblical culture.

Told with tabletop puppetry, Hebrew songs, storytelling and cultural props, The Bridesmaids and the Lamps is a great prelude to teaching the parables, and can be used to inspire children to create their own projects.

We have performed the show as part of our Lost Sheep model - find more information here
